The rental prices include one hot, excellent Indonesian evening meal a day. Every day early in the morning our cook goes to the market to buy fresh vegetables and fruit, and every evening is brought to Rumah Kita by car and further prepared. Of course you can let us know if for example you do not eat meat, but remember the meal is a service to our guests. It will not be possible to choose what you want to eat. But don't be worried, the food is always delicious and extremely varied. And for the children there will always be food that is not 'pedis'. In the mornings a modest breakfast of e.g. 'pisang goreng' (fried bananas) will be served. Toilet paper and laundry detergent are available in the houses, as are towels, bedding and mosquito nets. Our household staff does the laundry, irons your clothes and cleans your house and naturally that is also included. Our urgent request however is if you want to be responsible for your laundry and the towels, so that our staff doesn’t have to do the laundry all day.

It is especially pleasant that Rumah Kita prepares your dinner, for we have learned from experience that preparing hot meals yourself is very hard, in particular with regards to the shopping. When you arrive in our houses you will find large containers with drinking water there and some fridges may contain food or beverages. The drinking water has to be paid for at the end of your stay and you will also have to pay for the drinks you use from the fridge.

Every house has a libray with books in several languages. Feel free to read them and please... leave your own books you brought with you, so the guests after you can enjoy them as well (on the way back home you have more space in your suitcases!!)

Rumah Kita's staff consists of gardeners, cleaning ladies and the managemers Putu & Eti, who speak fluently English. By the way, a babysitter can be arranged at a small price.
